We know, in an uncertain, cynical world, how important it is to tell stories. Now, more than ever, it is our shared humanity that bonds us, and our responsibility as storytellers to bring about change in the world. I believe this is why actors choose to act: to illuminate, to inspire and to transcend.

My experience as an actress means I know how to make actors comfortable during a shoot, and I know how to bring out the best in them. My experience as a photographer means I know what elements make talent look their best: lighting, clothing and composition.

Photography sessions are a shared experience between photographer and actor.

So here’s the deal: everyone walks away from the session feeling inspired and energized. My job is to create an environment in which actors feel confident and safe. I want us both to have laughed – a lot. I want us both to have been reminded why we do what we do, despite immense odds and distractions. And I expect us both, once we’re done shooting, to feel like we’ve made a new friend.
